Hello all!
Well today should have been Chemo #2 Day. But I failed the test. My white blood count wasn’t where it needed to be. So I was sent home with an antibiotic script and instructions to avoid fruits and vegetables or anything open in the store that people touch. I was given several masks to wear when out in crowds.
This was very disappointing to me as it prolongs the treatments for another week. Prayers that I pass the test next week.
My pic is from last night. Some of us girls from high school got together. We had the best time! I also got prizes – what’s better than that!
On a little sad note my hair has started to come out. I had my cry in the shower yesterday (figured I was allowed a little self pity) then I was over it. It’s part of this journey I’m on. It’ll grow back – let’s hope for straight this time around lol. Why are we never satisfied with what God gave us…
I’ll close for now and again I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the text, calls, visits but most of all I thank you for the prayers. Our God is good and he’s got this!!!
Love you all!!
Renée Moss
You are beautiful either way! Prayers
Prayers for better numbers next week.
Renee I’m so sorry your numbers weren’t good. Praying for you girlie 🙏. And if you need any wigs, I have 2 adorable wigs I had when I was going through bc and you’re certainly welcome to use them!! Love you 😘
So sorry you couldn’t have the treatment! I know that you are ready to get them done! You are beautiful inside and out! Love you!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sorry for setback. Continued prayers through your journey.
Continued prayers for you. Always thinking of you.
YOU GOT THIS!!!
Danny had to follow a neutropenic diet while he was taking chemo. They wouldn’t give him ice because of the bacteria that could be in it. No fresh fruit or fresh veggies, no salads, and no pepper. Hang in there, Renae. You can do this. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I hope you find peace and comfort in knowing that many are praying for you.
I’m sure you will ROCK it…. hair or no hair!!! Much love my girlfriend!!
Thinking of you and sending good vibes🙏💓💓💓
Love you always in our prayers
Sorry you missed out this week but I’m sure you’ll rock the new hair style. Might become an Irish rockstar or something 😃. Take you friend up on the offer of the wigs and go with some different colors and styles for a while. I know you, you’ll show us all how to have fun while going thru this rough spot If you need to cry you go right ahead and do it. And if you want a shoulder instead of the shower, give me a call. Love you 😘. I’m here whenever you need me
Sorry to hear about your little set back. Praying that those pesky white cells make a comeback!
Sending you hugs from a distance, good vibes, strength, and prayers. The way I see it…it wasn’t that you weren’t ready for chemo, chemo wasn’t ready for you and the warriors you have with you. You got this! Definitely do a variety of wigs and bandannas…rock it like a rockstar!
Prayers for you Sis.Renee
Continue Prayers Renee. Setbacks can be tough. You have an awesome support group. Those ladies have your back. So great to see and to think I once knew them all. God is great!
Thanks everyone!
Love ya Girlfriend, ❤️ You got this 👍🏻 !!
